I remember visiting Burg Lagos circa 2016 when I first heard about their burgers, I didn’t hold my breath. It wasn’t anything they did. I just wasn’t ready to get disappointed and possibly heartbroken when they disappeared.
They seemed to me like one of those places that crop up out of nowhere, serve you delicious meals with great ambiance then just when you were starting to rely on them for sustenance and vitality, they disappear as quickly as they appeared.
Anyway, its 2020 now, 4 years have gone by and their burgers are still as juicy and tasty as ever so I guess its safe to let my
The first thing I love about burg is the ambience. The space is great and I love how they use of natural light. I especially love what they did with the walls. Photos taken inside burg.co always come out so well. They definitely get extra points for Instagram friendly location)
Their pricing is not outlandish and you will be getting value for your money. Because personally I don’t think you will find a better tasting, better priced burger anywhere else in Ikeja and on the mainland.
What I ordered
I ordered an OG burger, salt fries and a vanilla milkshake. Average wait time is between 15-20mins which I would say is rather reasonable. There is a ping-pong table out back to keep you occupied while you wait for order.
Between the beautifully set up space and the yummy fairly-priced burgers, Burg Lagos definitely gets a thumbs up from me.
